Living the Kingdom Way

Living the Kingdom Way is a series of 8 interactive classes designed to help us understand and put into practice the Ways of God’s Kingdom. Classes will be held at Puyallup Nazarene Church, Wednesday nights from 6-7:30pm

1)  Kingdom Vs Culture: Exposing, revealing the differences between God’s kingdom and our current culture, and making a decision. Which one do we want?

2) Discovering the ways of God’s Kingdom, which of course are not the ways of the world.

3) Understanding our new identity as Children of God, Disciples of Christ, and Vessels of the Holy Spirit.

4) Pressing into this abiding John 15 relationship with Jesus. The source of our power to live the Kingdom way.

Then moving into living out the ways of the Kingdom as opposed to the ways of our culture.

5) Choosing God and others over selfishness and pleasure.

6) Gaining freedom from the trappings of possessions, money, and false security.

7) Walking in assurance and humility, instead of striving for status and success.

8) Daily furthering the mission of God in us and through us.
